SEPUP Academy: Training and Leadership

Charleston, South Carolina (Arrive June 22-Depart June 26)

This meeting is primarily intended for teachers who want to increase their local capacity for training and leadership.

Building on a one-day foundation of required courses in assessment, literacy, and inquiry in SEPUP (next page), participants will then take part in a two-day advanced program of leadership development, including:

• Adult learning styles
• Research in SEPUP
• Planning and leading local workshops, using LAB-AIDS own workshop templates
• Creating and using pacing guides
• Developing quarterly benchmark assessments
• Additional LAB-AIDS professional development tools, including
  access to selected on-line training videos and additional content
